Dr Des Earls is a lecturer and researcher in Department of Health and Sport Science at SETU Carlow. His research covers areas such as female athlete profiling, injury prevention and sport science education practices. He has practical experience working with a range of national governing bodies and numerous club and intercounty senior GAA teams. He is currently a co-director of the Evolve research group at SETU Carlow.
