John is a lecturer in Sports Science at ATU Galway, specializing in S&C. His Ph.D. focusing on aspects of sports performance and in female intercounty GAA athletes. He serves as an Athletic Development Coach at the Sport Ireland Institute across the cycling and hockey youth athletic development pathways. He has previously had S&C/performance roles within intercounty hurling, Camogie, soccer and rugby.
