Dr Carla McCabe
Dr Carla McCabe is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, Postgraduate Tutor, and Interim Research Director for the School of Sport and Exercise Science at Ulster University. Her research focuses on human movement performance, with a particular passion for exploring movement mechanics in aquatic environments. Active projects include profiling swim performance and investigating the efficacy of in-water resistance training.

Dr Denise Martin
(Co-Chair)
Denise is a Programme Chair and lecturer in Sports Performance Analysis in ATU. Her PhD focused on professional development in sports science and she continues this theme through work with the Irish Sport and Exercise Science Association. Denise is co-lead of the Network for Professional Women working in Sport, Exercise, Physical Activity and Health and manages the Women in Sport Research Collective project to establish research priorities for women's sport on the island of Ireland. With a keen interest in Gaelic Games and coaching, Denise leads research projects to develop our understanding of game intelligence and strategy, particularly in Ladies Gaelic Football.
