Dr. Mairéad Cantwell is a clinical exercise physiologist, lecturer and course co-ordinator in the Department of Sport and Health Sciences at TUS. Mairéad’s research focuses on the role of exercise in the treatment and management of chronic disease, with a particular focus on cancer in both youth and adult populations. Her work aims to inform policy and practice in the use of exercise in cancer care through innovative and translational research.
